GALAXY AND DIAMONDS

It's been a month since I last posted here. I was probably too busy catching up with my real life that I almost forgot my virtual one. Kidding! September and October were not very friendly to me, especially the latter, with loads of work piled up on my desk. But yeah, no more negativity and just focus on positive things.

One of the things I love about my job is that I get to attend (and cover) events for free. I'll be blogging about my work misadventures really soon here. One of them, and probably the grandest to date, was the Diamonds World Tour Concert here in Manila by no less than bad gal RiRi herself, the woman who defined the R&B of today, Rihanna.

I'll be detailing in my next blog post what wonders transpired during Rihanna's concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. But to somehow match the sparkling Diamonds performance of the pop diva, I wore this outfit at the night of the concert...and even at the office that day. Haha!

I was serious about wearing this outfit at work. That's one of the perks of my job, I guess. Since we're handling a youthful brand, a youthful aura at work is very much encouraged. We're not required to go strictly corporate/formal like long sleeves coupled with coat and tie.Man, that would be really hot if ever--and I meant that literally. So for RiRi's concert, I chose this galaxy shirt from SM Youth x Tee Culture. It just has the right attitude, not so showy but it screams the right amount of "Hey! I'm here!" Haha! Topped it with a maong-looking polo from Bench just to add a sense of masculinity and a hat for style.

As I've said before, I love wearing chinos and slimfit pants. Perhaps, baggy ones are not meant for me. I just really find Chinos and Slimfits sleek. These Oxfords brown shoes I found miraculously in Baguio's night market, the Philippines' summer capital. I went there last February for the Panagbenga, the annual flower festival. I shall also be blogging about that soon. The patterned socks I bought in SM Department Store just to add flair.

I'll be more faithful in updating this blog and hopefully, add all my adventures and misadventures from the past, the present and the future. I added some categories on my menu which are to be filled up soon.

But for tonight, I shall be wandering in the galaxy and dream about diamonds.
