Throwback Thursday has bred many offspring: Flashback Friday, Senti Sabado, Swingback Sunday, Wayback Wednesday and even Memory Monday. Kidding on the last one! Haha! But let me make this as an excuse to walk down to memory lane again and reminisce something back in college. It was a moment when my friend and I realized that something so ordinary can look extraordinary when given enough attention. And when we can still enjoy the freedom of dressing casually when going to class. Lol!
On the first day of theater class, our professor didn't show up, giving us the time to do whatever we want. My friend and I had this idea of shooting some photos in one of the oldest buildings in our university. We complement each other, I guess. She is one who is enamored by the beauty of the photographs while I'm the one whose vanity could not be controlled. In short, she loves to take (amazing) photos and I just like to pose move in front of her lens which seem to beautify everything it captures.

Then it hit us. The empty boards looked something like a galaxy full of stars, well, a board with papers that seemed photogenic enough to be noticed.
And it actually photographed well.
Since our university doesn't really have a uniform except during physical education classes, we were mostly free to wear whatever we want. You can even wear a tee paired with shorts and slippers when going to class. No one will scold you for being inappropriate.

| What I'm wearing: Checkered polo and brown chino pants from Bench, grey plimsoll shoes from SM Department Store and accessories from random places I go to. |
Anyway, on usual days, I pair any kind of shirt with jeans or chino pants. But since it's the first day of theater class that day, I decided to wear a polo to leave a (somehow) good impression. It always goes back to the nerdy look I was aiming for.

The rosary bracelet I got from a church I visited somewhere in Quezon. Will blog about that trip soon. The ballers I got from different universities, the green one from De La Salle University and the blue one from iAcademy.
The feeling we felt that day was different. It was a different kind of emptiness: an empty board and an empty stairway. But it was an emptiness full of meanings. "Isn't it amazing how something so ordinary can turn extraordinary when given enough attention?"
