Five years ago, I was a high school senior taking and hoping to pass the UPCAT (college entrance exam). Now, I’m already a graduate.
Four years ago, I was trying to find my place in a new environment known as the university. Now, I’m trying to find my niche in what most people would call the “real world.”
Three years ago, I was learning the tenets of my course, dreaming to see the products of my playful mind get published. Now, luckily, I see them in dailies and glossies.
Two years ago, I went to places and looked for news. Now, I go to events and try to create executions that would make the news.
One year ago, I was battling the dreaded deadlines of writing my thesis and finishing the last hurdle of the chapter we fondly call college. Now, I’m beating material deadlines for what I would now call work.

| What I'm wearing: polo-shirt and belt from SM Department Store, chino pants from Bench, and shoes from an ukay-ukay in Makati Cinema Square. |
It's been four months since I last stepped in as a student in my Alma mater. And now, I'm turning three months old as a real world newbie. I honestly miss student life, especially those weekly hangouts with my friends and the fun-filled and insightful experiences I had in my classes.
One thing that I also like about my university is how green its landscape is, covered with grassy meadows where you could just contemplate and think deep, be it about your crush not talking to you or how you would just want to escape away from all the setbacks of life.
During my breaks, I would just lie down under the canopies of the trees, trying to catch up the sleep that I lost in finishing assignments and projects. And it was fun, because the air is clean and it's just refreshing to take a quick nap in an open field.
Although I'm moving in a new environment now, some things are still the same, for one deadlines. But I really miss college. I miss my university. I miss my Alma mater. I miss the place I will always call home.
And oh, aside from being a real world newbie, I'm also a newbie in this blogging thing. I finally decided to make a serious one after much-thought and tug-o-war yes or no. I'm planning to use Vinyl from now on.
I bought these wonderful shoes from a thrift store in ukay-ukay haven, Makati Cinema Square. I was able to buy this pair for an amount below P1,000. Not bad, considering it's not too old and it still looks good.
The belt and polo-shirt are from SM Department Store. I particularly like tops with unique and geeky-style kind of prints and patterns. I don't really know why. I'd like to think that those types work on me.
If I'm not wearing skinny jeans, you'll probably see me in chino pants, like this pair which I got from Bench. I find chino pants versatile since you can use it at work or during parties with friends.
My eyes are perfectly clear. I just like to wear glasses to add to my geeky style. I got this one from an online shop, inspired by the shape of Harry Potter's eyeglasses.
This cute and cool paper purse is a gift from a friend which she ordered from an online Facebook shop. I was trying to ask her for the link but she forgot it already. This paper wallet is really durable and its cool because aside from the creative comics cover, it's also a great way of recycling paper.
Like with my current work now, I still have so much to learn about blogging. I hope you keep on visiting my blog. And I apologize for being so verbose. I'm usually like this. Haha! :)
Happy first of September!
